Editor’s Foreword
The editorial board of the Georgian scientific-practical journal “Georgian Qualification Herald” announces with deep sorrow. Professor Guram Tatishvili.
The Georgian Society of Surgeons has lost a respected doctor, a dedicated scientist, a mentor-educator of many generations of surgeons, a public figure and a true patriot.
Mr. Am Tatishvili was the founder and soul of the journal “Georgian Society Herald”. It was precisely through his titanic work and efforts that the journal acquired its vitality and timeliness. It is precisely through Mr. Guram’s merit that “Georgian Social Herald” is the printed organ of the Georgian Scientific Society and a tribune of the scientific and practical achievements of surgeons.
The foundation for the creation of the journal of Mr. Am Tatishvili and my society has deepened. I gained a worthy friend and mentor, who, unfortunately, passed away too early for the magazine and our friendship.
The restoration of the meetings of the “Georgian Acad. Gr. Mukhadze Scientific Society of Surgeons” and the “Herald of the Georgian Society” and the monument made of wood.
